Messianic Torah Observant?
Shalom!
Welcome to this blog!
This blog will be about how to become Torah-observant; and how to follow the Messiah according to the Messianic prophecies in Torah and Tana”ch.
I have made this first post sticky. New posts will be published below this post.
Follow the Creator? Becoming Torah observant?
Is this what the Creator requires from you and me?
Lets’ see what the Torah says! Torah contains the Instruction Manual of the Creator. You don’t agree? Then I recommend you to read this post: Proof of the existence of an Intelligent and Perfect Creator and His Will of mankind
This passage will contain some Hebrew words and if there is any word that you don’t understand, then I recommend you to look them up! Hebrew translitterated words are linked to the definition of the word, at least the first time the word is used. I also provide short explanations of many of the words in the Hebrew text.
Messianic Judaism and being Torah-observant?
Yeshayahu [‘Isaiah’] 42:1-4: “Behold avedi, whom I will raise up, My chosen one in whom is the desire of My nëphësh; I have given My Ruakh upon him. He will bring mishpat to thegoyim. (!!) …to truth he shall bring mishpât …he shall not be darkened nor crushed until he has set mishpât in hâ-Âretz and the isles await him”
You can find more about the word mishpat, in the article Yeshua, oral Torah and kosher? , on my other blog. I highly recommend you to read it, so that you will realize what the Creator requires of you. The meaning of the word mishpat has been concealed in the most common translations.
According to that verse one is required to keep the directives of Torah non-selectively in order to be a follower of the Mashiach – Messiah.
Same Torah for everyone?
Tor•âh′ explicitly declares that there is only one Tor•âh′ , applying the same to Y’hud•im′ – Jews – and geirim′ – i.e. non-Jewish Torah-observant proselytes recognized by a legitimate beit din - (b’Mi•d’bar′ [‘Numbers’] 15.16, 29), one khuq•âh′ (b’-Mi•dәbar′ [‘Numbers’] 9.14; 15.14-15) and one mi•sh’pât′ (wa-Yi•qr•â′ [‘Leviticus’] 24.22; bә-Mi•dәbar′ [‘Numbers’] 15.16).
According to Tana’’ch and mishpat, defined above, only geirim and Yehudim – Jews – are included in Israel’s pact with the Creator; and only Yehudim and geirim are promised ha-olam ha ba (lit. the coming world) – the Realms of Heavens
With a Yehudi – a Jew – necessitates that this person doesn’t reject Torah. It requires that he/she does his/her utmost to keep the directives of Torah non-selectively. The same is required by a geir – a non-Jewish Torah-observant proselyte.
Do you want to become a follower of authentic Messianic Judaism, as a geir or a Jew, following the historical Rabbi Yeshua – the Messiah?

Tanach: Messianic prophecies nazarenes netzarim Tanach yehoshua yeshua

Messianic prophecy; Nazarenes
Here follows an interesting quote. I edited it slightly. Some of the Hebrew words are linked to glossary-definitions.
Prophecy:
Medievalist & Europe-Oriented Rabbis Will Be “Cut Low” And
A “Soft Tendril”* Will Bear the “Branch”
Result Of Rib′i Yeshua‘s Metamorphosis (Revelation)
To Shim•on′ “Keiphâ” Bar-Yonâh And Brothers Ya•a•qov′ & Yo•khân•ân′ Bën-Rogëz Bar-Zavdieil
* From among Israeli Orthodox Jews. “Branch” is a widely accepted metonym for the Mâshi′ach . Messiah, i.e., the 2ndManifestation. Therefore, this passage describes a “soft tendril” that will bear the Mashiach.
On Har Meiron
17.22-24— This passage is messianic. The “lofty cedar” is Torah. The צמרת (tzamërët; treetop, elite, high-level), which will be taken from the “lofty cedar” (Torah) and established, is the Mâ•shi′akh—Ribi Yeshua.
Therefore, newborn infants of this צמרת (tzamërët; treetop, elite, high-level = Rib′iYeshua the Mâ•shi′akh) are the Netzarim′.
The ראש ינקותיו (rosh Yonqotâv; head of his newborn-infants, who are the Netzarim′) is their Pâ•qid′, spokesman for the original head, Rib′i Yeshua the Mâ•shi′akh.
The “Har of the height of Yisrâeil′ – Israel -” is either Har ha-Bayit -’Temple mount’, Har Tziyon′ or Har Meiron. The Beit-ha-K’nës′ët of the Netzarim′ has resided on Har Tziy•on′ since the time of Pâqid′ Ya’aqov′ – ‘Jacob’ -“ha-Tzadiq′“.
With these symbolisms established, the reading becomes clearer.
“Then, from the ראש ינקותיו (rosh Yonqotâv; head of his newborn-infants, i.e., from the Netzarim′ pәqid•im′), I will pluck a רך (rakh; soft; tender), i.e. tendril, and plant it on the high, steepness of the Har of the height of Yisrâeil′. It will bear the ענף (ânâph; Branch, a metaphor for theMâshi′akh, which could only be the second, Bën-Dâvid, manifestation) and produce fruit, and become a stately cedar (Torah). And every bird (i.e., person) of every kind of wing (nation) will neighbor under it, in the shade of its plump tendrils.
“Then all the trees (religions other than the “lofty cedar”) of the field shall know shall know that I, י--ה, have cut-low a grown-tall tree (corrupted medieval version of Torah) and grown-tall a cut-low tree (Rib′i Yeshuaand his Netzarim′, whom the Roman Hellenist Christians killed and depleted, respectively—cf. Dâniyeil 7.25); I have dried-up a green tree (corrupted medieval version) and caused a dry tree (the post-135 C.E. Christian-perverted counterfeit of Rib′i Yeshua and his Netzarim′) to blossom (the logical, scientific and modern Torah-view of the restored Netzarim′)’”
Rib′i Yeshua taught on this passage. Rabbi Yeshua said, “Take heed against false n’viyim′ – prophets – who come to you in wool like sheep, but inside they are wolves who extort. You shall recognize them by their Maasëh′ – deeds. Do men pick grapes from a stinging-nettle? Or figs from a thistle-bush? So, every green tree is unable to produce evil fruit, and a dried-up tree is unable to produce good fruit. Every tree that is not producing good fruit is cut out and thrown into the fire” (The Netzarim′ Reconstruction of Hebrew Matityâh′u (NHM) 7.15-23).

Yeshua, Mashiach, the only candidate of fulfilling the messianic prophecies.
Dear Heather,
Great that we both see the value of debating!
[Some of the below statements are linked to references.]
You wrote: “”It seems to me that many do this to fit their own needs. I have also read that Nehemia Gordon (Karaite Jew) says that the book of Matthew was originally written in Hebrew. There are so many translations and interpretations that I am weary of trying to sort it all out.”
Many do “this to fit their own needs”. You are correct in that observation! It is easy to differentiate between the “reconstructions” made by people having their own agenda, and Netzarim Reconstruction of Hebrew Matityahu [NHM] using a formal logical methodology based on scientific well documented premises. The methodology is outlined in this post. Some of the premises are outlined in my previous posts. The well documented fact of Ribi Yehoshua being a Pharisee disprovess Nehemia Gordon’s statements to be valid. The fact that Ribi Yehoshua was a Pharisee proves he endorsed Torah including historical real world Halakhah. He also ignores the Torah-directive to keep the directives of Torah according to mishpat.
Neither Scholars nor laymen have refuted the research of NHM. The research started to be published about 30 years ago.
I can easily demonstrate other “reconstructions”, “translations”, etc, to be invalid.
If you think you found any error in the methodology described of reconstructing Hebrew Matityahu, then please point it out. If you don’t find any error, then you have no reason to reject the reconstruction or claiming it to be unreliable.
You wrote: What is wrong with my view? Why can’t I stay with my Tanakh, follow Torah to the best of my ability”
I am very happy that you desire to keep Torah to the best of your ability!
Do you agree with me of what I have written in my previous posts about mishpat?
Do you understand the Torah including the historical real world Halakhah of the requirements of how to be included in Am Israels’ pact with HaShem?
You wrote: “and not have to “accept” “Ribi Yehoshua” as messiah? What evidence do you have in Tanakh? Please quote Tanakh to me.
Yes, sure, I will! I have quoted this before, but I haven’t got any valid counter argument to it. The following is only one of many arguments proving Ribi Yehoshua to be the Mashiakh. If you don’t agree with any of the following statements, then please tell me which statement you don’t agree with; and on which grounds you don’t agree with it! Except for Tana’’ch I hope that I am allowed to use other historical documents!
“See Hosheia 3.5, Yirmәyâhu 30.9; et al. From the time this original prophecy was issued (ca. B.C.E. 465) this required documentation in the public genealogical registries.
“According to Hegesippus, Vespasian [69-79 C.E.], Domitian [81-96 C.E.] and Trajan [98-117 C.E.] hunted down all Jews of Davidic descent and executed them in order to extirpate the royal line on which the Jews had set their hopes” (Emil Schürer, The History Of The Jewish People In The Age Of Christ,” I:528).
“It was not without reason…” (Salo Baron, “A Social and Religious History of the Jews,” II:121). “The authorities searched out the Jewish families descended from the house of David in order to destroy them and thus eradicate the last remnant of the nation’s hope of restoration of the Davidic kingdom” (“Israel,” EJ, 9:238).
The sole surviving exceptions are the two genealogies of Ribi Yәhoshua.
Only after the Romans destroyed all of the Davidic genealogies except two (paternal and maternal genealogies of Ribi Yәhoshua) have some ventured that the public genealogical registries weren’t required for validation of Kohanim and the Mâshiakh – Messiah.
However, even for valid Kohanim Scripture makes it explicitly clear that the required documentation by public genealogical registries cannot be circumvented (Nәkhemyah 7.63) (Kohanim – ‘priests’- today are ceremonial; honored as having traditional descent; but none would qualify for service in the Beit ha-Miqdash – ‘Temple’.)
The only historically authentic genealogies of the Davidic family from the public registries that survive today are those of Ribi Yәhoshua.
Therefore, Ribi Yәhoshua is the only possible candidate for Mâshiakh that there can ever be!” [Source]
You quoted ‘the gospel of John’. I don’t follow it. Only NHM is authoritative of what Ribi Yehoshua taught and what he didn’t teach.
You wrote:“Ribi Yehoshua said that I need to go through him to reach the Father”
No, he didn’t. I demonstrated that Ribi Yehoshua was a Pharisee in good standing in the Pharisaic Jewish community all of his lifetime. Do you think that he can have taught such a statement, and yet remained in good standing?
To claim– without any proofs – that a person taught anything anti-Torah would be leshon hara, which is forbidden in Torah. One is of course allowed to have questions; but not to state such a thing without any proofs.
You wrote: “Unless you can point me to scripture to correct my misunderstanding, I should be able to read Tanakh and grow in wisdom and knowledge of our Creator, following Torah.”
Yes, we can grow in wisdom of our Creator by studying His Tana’’ch in Hebrew; and I hope that we all are doing this! What about real world historical Halakhah?

Yeshua, Torah-observant?, new religion?
Shalom!!
My comment on a persons blog who intended to write about Yeshua and Torah-observance:
You wrote: “No, Yeshua did not intend to start a new religion. Yeshua intended to bring people to God, the God of Israel. He intended to draw ‘all peoples’ to himself (John 12:32). ”
I want to comment on what you wrote.
Who is the Messiah prophesied to be?? It is important to know, so that one can find out what the historical Messiah taught. Let us study Tan’’kh (which Christians call the “OT”) to see what it teaches about the Messiah.
Messianic-prophecies, Yeshua and Torah?
Yeshayahu [”Isaiah”] 9:5: [Translation in accordance with etymology – science about the origins and meanings of words; and the semicolon is placed according to the cantillation marks which the Hebrew texts require]:
(wa-yiqrâ shemo Pëlë yoeitz Eil Jibor; avi-ad sar- shâlom; ”and he called his name ‘Wonder,’ a counselor of Eil Jibor; My Father is until [i.e. forever], a minister of peace”)
The Creator does not change – Malakhi 3:6, Tehilim [”Psalms”] 89:35. The meaning of this passage from the year 720 b.c.e cannot have changed.
For more than eight centuries after that Yeshayahu proclaimed this prophecy, the Messianic interpretations remained strictly within the restrictions of Torah [“the books of Moses”] – a vision of a deadly human king patterned after king Khizqiyah [“Hiskiah”] [which the prophecy partly was about] – who no one considered to be a “godly man-saviour”!
We can learn from this that Yehoshua – the Messiah – would be a human, not divine. And thus, the historical Yehoshua – if he was the Messiah – he drew people to the Father, not to himself.
Do you want to follow Rabbi Yeshua as you are required according to the Torah, having the information that he is the Mashiach – Messiah?
Do you want to follow the Torah as the followers of the Mashiach – Messiah – must do according to the prophecies of Tana”ch?
Following his teachings, leads oneself into Torah-observance; including an immensely meaningful relationship with the Creator.
I hope this information helps!

How to become Messianic Torah observant?
How to become Messianic Torah observant?

Hebrew translitterated words are linked to the definition of the word, at least the first time the word is used. I also provide short explanations of many of the words in the Hebrew text.
Who are the Netzarim?
The Netzarim are Jews and geirim – non-Jewish Torah observant proselytes recognized by a legitimate Judaic court [beit din] – believing that Rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth was the Mashiach – Messiah. The only legitimate Netzarim is the Netzarim in Ra’anana in Israel. You can understand that this is the case by reading this article: Follow Yeshua and Torah? Course for non-Jews who wants to follow Yeshua
[The following is adapted from the website of Netzarim.]
Torah-observant? A holy lifestyle!
“Be a Netzâr•im′ “Saint”— How do you become a Netzâr•im′ “Saint”? Same way as other Torah -observant Jews: “saints”—קדשים, one of the Hebrew terms translated by Christians as “saints”—are self made.
Self made?!? Check it out. Wa-Yiqra [‘Leviticus’] 11.44 (in the Hebrew, of course): “For I am י--ה [HaSheim] your Ël•oh•im′, והתקדשתם והייתם קדשים, because I am קדוש.”
Translation of the second clause:
And / then you shall make yourselves holy-saints; and you shall be holy saints.
Everyone who does their utmost in practicing Tor•âh′-observance according to mishpat (defined as, and only including, Orthodox Jews and geir•im′) is a self-made “saint”!”
What is mishpat you may ask?
You can find more about the word mishpat, in the article Yeshua, oral Torah and kosher? , on my other blog. I highly recommend you to read it, so that you will realize what the Creator requires of you. The meaning of the word mishpat has been concealed in the most common translations.
How to become Torah-observant? How to become holy?
Mishpat requires, inter alia that you give tzәdâq•âh′, observe the kosher-laws and other mi•tzәw•ot′ – military style orders of Torah, make a חג to Yәrushâlayim for a Khag (Pësach, Shâvuot′ or Sukkot′), as often as your health and finances permit.
Then (cf. Mishәl•ei′ Shәlom•oh′ 28.9 and The Netzarim Reconstruction of Hebrew Matityahu (NHM) note 21.22.2) you must pray with the Pәrush•im′ [Pharisee]-heritage in a Beit-ha-Kәnës′ët [Orthodox ‘synagouge’], where geographically viable, on Shabbât′ and Khagim′ (in Hebrew).
If you want to know what the Creator requires of you, then please study this link:

Be a self-made saint today! Be a (קדוש(ה—as י--ה – the Creator – instructed.
